TIPCHECK
TIPCHECK stands for Technical Insulation Performance Check. With the certification in place, the IPCOM companies are able to help customers identify energy leaks, calculate the cost of upgrading the facility, and determine how long it will take to earn back the investment. This service can result in significant savings for the end customer and, importantly, help reduce CO2 emissions.
Growing pool of engineers
At the time of writing this article, only 142 people worldwide have this certification. Out of this total, 6 certifications are owned by IPCOM team members: Hans Vlasman (ISOPARTNER Netherlands), Johan Sentjens (Temati), Antti Hyttinen (Kespet Oy), Michael Helmreich (ISOPARTNER Germany), Christian Holm (ISOPARTNER Sweden) and Trond-Erik Johansen (ISOPARTNER Norway). The latter, two salesmen from ISOPARTNER Nordics, have just completed the five-day’s TIPCHECK course, which was organized by Eiif. They are now certified to calculate heat loss in industrial facilities and buildings. Or as they say with some sense of humour: "You can now call us Inspector Holm and Inspector Johansen, heat loss detectives". Congratulations to both!
