INTRO by our CEO, Remco Boerefijn
The first half of 2021 is soon behind us. Time goes fast. COVID-19 is still causing some challenges for some of our customers and for us.
Nevertheless, Ipcom performed well, with the exception of our activities in the Maritime and Oil & Gas sectors. There we are still experiencing delays in orders due to the current pandemic.
In the second quarter, we expanded our group with 2 new companies, Asbipro and Alara-Lukagro BV.
Two Dutch companies with a strong reputation that fit very well into IPCOM's core business.
With the new acquisition of Asbipro, IPCOM strengthens its market position in the Benelux in the fields of Conversion, Technical and Acoustic Insulation. Alara-Lukagro has a strong knowledge in the field of noise control and is partly complementary with Atis International.
With these companies, we have all the elements in place to build together on a strong growth story and a strong future.
We want to build this growth story together with all of you and whereby we warmly welcome our 150 new colleagues to the IPCOM family.
After the summer period, the vaccinations will have been massively applied. Surely you are looking forward too, to a life with no (or much less) restrictions. To meet friends and family, go out for dinner, go on holiday, go to a festival. Likewise, we are looking forward to travel to our locations and to meet you “live” again!
