Preface of our CEO

25.01.2024
Dear colleagues,

As we approach the end of January, we are excited to kick off our first newsletter for 2024.

In this edition, we aim to update you on the latest happenings and share insights into our current key initiatives for 2024 that will make IPCOM more efficient, sustainable and effective for our stakeholders. Some important examples:

ESG initiatives

Sustainability remains a pillar of our corporate values. In 2024, we will increase our efforts to reduce CO2 emissions. In particular, from 2024 onwards, our company car policy will change. All new company cars must be fully electric. This strategic move is in line with our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint and adopt cleaner, greener transport solutions, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and responsible business model.

Acquisitions

Our commitment to growth remains unchanged. In 2024, we will continue to actively identify opportunities for strategic acquisitions that align with our organisational goals and values. Acquiring complementary businesses will not only extend our reach but also enhance our capabilities to ensure continued success and value for our stakeholders.

Investing in our IT organization and systems

Bart Coppitters has been appointed as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the IPCOM Group. He started on January 15th and will be responsible for streamlining and improving the ICT organisation within our Group. Under his leadership, the following initiatives will be developed to ensure seamless integration and sustainable progress within our organisation.

  • ERP implementation

Our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project is key to our operational efficiency strategy. In 2024, we will begin a phased implementation within ISOPARTNER and Flexicel to a single ERP platform. This strategic step is designed to improve efficiency, streamline processes and better meet the changing needs of our customers.

  • Cyber security initiatives

Cyber security is a top priority for all of us. We continue to improve our security measures, with a particular focus on the development and execution of sophisticated phishing campaigns. This strategic approach is designed to strengthen our defence against evolving cyber threats and ensure the resilience of our digital infrastructure.

Finally, I’m looking forward to make 2024 a very successful year, with a collective spirit of optimism and determination. These initiatives will undoubtedly lead us to a year of performance, sustainability and growth. I thank you for your continued commitment and look forward to moving forward together.
