Giro-E is a unique e-bike event held alongside the Giro d’Italia, giving cycling enthusiasts the chance to experience the excitement of the iconic race on the same roads and days. Open exclusively to homologated e-road bikes with 250W motors and a maximum speed of 25 km/h, the event allows amateur riders with standard training to tackle routes typically reserved for professional athletes.

Alara-Lukagro celebrates community and endurance with ‘Ride of Rides’
In the Netherlands, Alara-Lukagro recently supported the 7th edition of the legendary Ride of Rides. A 250-kilometre cycling event from Nieuwpoort in Belgium to Nieuwpoort aan de Lek in the Netherlands. The event brought together 63 riders, including Alara-Lukagro's colleague Cees van Dijk, who cycled across scenic Dutch and Belgian landscapes to celebrate cross-border friendship and local heritage. Alara-Lukagro sponsored event trophies, banners, and participant T-shirts, reinforcing the values of community, perseverance, and regional connection.
Flexicel turns insulation into art
Flexicel is driving innovation, even in art. They partnered with Valentina Vencislavova, a Bulgarian painter based in Barcelona and recognized in the contemporary art scene. Her latest collection was created on Whisper panels. These acoustic panels have been transformed by Flexicel, now reimagined as artistic canvases. What makes Whisper unique as an artistic surface? The piece ‘Destruction and Rebirth of the Earth’, created on Whisper panels, explores the tension between planetary destruction and renewal—perfectly aligning with Flexicel’s mission to drive sustainable solutions. Good news for those who are curious (and nearby): the Whisper-based artworks will soon be featured in a dedicated exhibition!
