Alara-Lukagro wins major Fluence contract for acoustic enclosures in solar energy project

Alara-Lukagro has secured a significant contract with Fluence, a subsidiary of Siemens and AES, in Germany. This project is handled by Alara-Lukagro’s PMC team Energy.

Fluence specializes in large battery storage systems and the conversion of direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) for large solar energy projects. The awarded project involves the enclosures of 120 frequency inverters, with the enclosure designed to reduce the total sound component of the inverter. Over the next few months, Alara will deliver 120 of these systems.

Fluence was looking for an acoustical solution and a reliable partner for the design, production, and delivery of these systems. Alara-Lukagro developed the design and a prototype and as with many of their projects, a noise guarantee was given. At the Alara-Lukagro premises, the required noise reduction was measured and successfully verified.

New order from Clarke Energy strengthens Alara-Lukagro’s role in greener power projects

Alara-Lukagro has received an exciting order from Clarke Energy in the United Kingdom for delivery to Greece. This order consists of 17 ventilation units, like those they already supply to Statera in the United Kingdom for the Thurrock Power project. Congratulations to the PMC team Energy for securing this important project!

This project is being developed to provide energy during times when natural resources like solar and wind are not sufficient. The Jenbacher generator sets run on gas and contribute to an efficient energy supply with minimal use of fossil fuels. As a result, the nearby coal-fired power plant has become redundant.
