Alara-Lukagro wins big order for energy industry!
Green energy is growing fast in the UK. Availability of solar and wind energy depends on the weather and is not always constant. This causes peaks in energy supply. The solution: peak shaving power plants. Statera, a leading company in the energy market, is currently building the largest peak shaving power plant in the UK, right along the banks of the Thames river.
This plant includes 95 gas-powered generators that together generate up to 450MW of power. Of course, every generator also produces significant noise and heat. Alara-Lukagro provides the solution: they are supplying ventilation systems that ensure the right balance between noise reduction, ventilation and temperature control in the engine rooms. In addition, they’re also delivering noise reducing doors and walls.
This project is a major success, marking a multi-million euro contract! Thanks to their reputation, strong account management, and technical expertise, Statera chose Alara-Lukagro. They’ve already won several smaller peak shaving contracts in the past, but this is for sure the biggest one in the history of Alara-Lukagro.
