Safety First at ISOLTEAM
It’s all about: Health
As an installation company, Isolteam is unique within the IPCOM group. Every day, the Isolteam insulation teams are busy at dozens of job sites. Their job is already a physical challenge, but it becomes even more intense when it comes to ceiling insulation or pipe insulation. Lifting and carrying insulation rolls can carry weight over time—both literally and figuratively. Fortunately, there are ergonomic aids available to remedy this.
So, when Hilti offered them the chance to test their EXO-S shoulder exoskeleton, Isolteam was immediately enthusiastic. Several team members started to wear the tool like a backpack and quickly discovered that insulating overhead can be done without physical discomfort. Thanks to the exoskeleton, the load shifts from the shoulders and neck to the hips, which can bear more weight. The team was very impressed and convinced that the exoskeleton is a must-have for ergonomically insulating above shoulder and head height.
Safety
Besides health and ergonomics, Isolteam also prioritizes safety. Just before the summer holidays, they organized a day entirely focused on safety. There were different workshops where the team learned to extinguish fires, apply first aid, and lift without sweating (or getting back injuries!). They also spent some time on making fun pictures!
And Happiness
Last but not least… the result. Healthy, satisfied employees who see that the company genuinely cares about their well-being, not just on paper. This, in turn, leads to lower absenteeism and ultimately to the timely completion of Isolteam’s insulation projects. In short, a safe workplace is a happy and productive workplace!
