IPCOM achieves EcoVadis Commitment label
Background
Sustainability has evolved from a buzzword into a business imperative. In an era where consumers, investors, and regulators prioritize environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance, IPCOM goes beyond compliance to demonstrate its commitment to sustainable business practices. One way to do so is through a yearly EcoVadis assessment.
EcoVadis assessment?
EcoVadis is an internationally recognized provider of business sustainability ratings. The assessment is based on a customized questionnaire, which is designed according to size, countries of operations and industry of the assessed company. It provides a scorecard which is built upon 190 ESG factors reviewed by sustainability experts and addresses four main pillars of ESG: Environment, Labour and Human rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
The IPCOM score
In 2023, IPCOM participated for the first time to an EcoVadis assessment and achieved a score of 40. In 2024, we have made significant improvements and achieved a score of 52! This is the result of shared efforts between IPCOM and all local companies that have set up ESG-initiatives and provided supporting documentation on these.
On top of this improved score, IPCOM has been awarded a Committed Badge. This recognition demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and sets high standards moving forward. We are determined to continue our ESG-journey and advance towards our sustainability goals. Let’s move forward together!
