Double Triumph for Insulcon Technical: Crowned 'Technology Innovation' and 'Business of the Year' at the North Tyneside Business Awards 2023

Insulcon Technical, operating from the Tyne Tunnel Industrial Estate, North East England, specialises in manufacturing technical insulation and passive fire protection (PFP) systems, exporting these cutting-edge solutions to over 30 countries worldwide. Renowned for their tailor-made approach, these systems protect pipework and complex equipment in high-profile offshore and onshore assets, offering unparalleled protection against fire, extreme temperatures, noise, weather and corrosion.
Since its establishment in 2006, Insulcon Technical has been at the forefront of technical innovation in insulation and passive fire protection. Innovations which include the world’s thinnest and lightest fire protection insulation jacket able to withstand temperatures of up to 1,250 degrees Celcius for 90 minutes and award-winning, flexible insulation systems that are easily removed for maintenance. The company became part of the IPCOM group in 2019, as AIS Technical at the time, but rebranded to Insulcon Technical in 2022.
